Abstract

Eight crosses in F,-generation of bread wheat were crossed with maize variety C-17. Fertilization frequency ranged
from 10-21.9%ofpollinatedflorets.Atotalof50embryoswererecoveredfrom492floretsand IS embryosgerminated
to havehaploidseedlings.
